Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Production / Completion / Well Operations Engineer with strong experience in ESP systems and well optimization activities. The role involves planning and supervising rig-based well operations, including ESP design, installation, commissioning, and acid stimulation activities, as well as leading completion optimization initiatives with a focus on improving ESP performance and reliability. The engineer will also be responsible for planning and supervising rig less operations such as wireline and slickline interventions, interpreting acquired data to support well intervention decisions, and analyzing production performance and well behavior to propose technical solutions that enhance field production. In addition, the role requires interpretation of pressure and well test data to evaluate reservoir and well performance, preparation and management of annual budgets, monitoring of expenditure, and ensuring effective cost control for all production and intervention activities. The successful candidate must ensure full compliance with HSE, quality, and environmental standards across all operations while driving efficiency and optimization.
Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent with excellent command of English and strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in ESP completion design and operations, along with a strong understanding of drilling, completion, wireline, and general oilfield operations. Proven experience in planning, supervising, coordinating, and evaluating slickline operations is required. The role also requires strong project management capabilities, effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to lead teams efficiently. Good analytical and communication skills are essential, along with familiarity in production data management and interpretation tools, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
