Job Description
Own and manage the product backlog for assigned product areas, ensuring it is well-defined, prioritised, and aligned with the product roadmap.
Write clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications that enable effective delivery by engineering and QA teams.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to define and validate user experience solutions, balancing user needs with technical feasibility and business priorities.
Conduct and synthesise user research, data analysis, and stakeholder input to inform product decisions and feature prioritisation.
Manage product performance by defining KPIs and OKRs, tracking outcomes, and using insights to drive continuous improvement.
Coordinate product launches, working with communications and stakeholder teams to ensure effective rollout and post-launch monitoring.
Maintain clear and transparent communication with stakeholders on progress, risks, and trade-offs throughout the delivery cycle.
Contribute to the definition and evolution of the product roadmap in collaboration with senior product leadership.
Support and mentor junior product owners or business analysts, sharing knowledge and reviewing their outputs to uphold quality standards.
Requirement
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5–8 years of experience in product management or product ownership, with a track record of delivering digital products in agile environments.
Demonstrated ability to write high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.
Solid understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience as a practising product owner in a delivery team.
Strong analytical and data-driven approach to product decision-making, with experience using analytics tools and performance metrics.
Ability to translate complex user and business requirements into clear, prioritised, and deliverable product increments.
Experience conducting or commissioning user research and usability testing to validate product decisions.
Proficient with product management tools such as Jira and Confluence, and comfortable working with roadmapping and analytics platforms.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to navigate competing priorities and build consensus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing products on large-scale government or enterprise digital platforms.
Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and the ability to engage productively with design teams on experience decisions.
Understanding of API-driven architectures, platform ecosystems, and the technical landscape of modern digital products.
Experience defining and tracking OKRs, product KPIs, and outcome-based roadmaps.
Exposure to service design and end-to-end journey mapping across multiple touchpoints.
Product Owner certification (PSPO, CSPO) or equivalent agile qualification.
Experience working in a context that requires Arabic language content or bilingual digital service delivery.
