Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced HSE professional responsible for developing and implementing Project HSE Plans in line with ADNOC CoP and HSEMS requirements. The role requires recent Abu Dhabi project experience with ADNOC and local authority compliance, as well as strong capability in conducting HSE risk assessments including HIRA, HAZID, and HSEIA. The successful candidate will review HSE deliverables across design, construction, and commissioning phases, lead and supervise HSE teams and contractors, and ensure effective implementation of HSEMS, audits, and corrective actions. The role also includes performing incident investigations and root cause analysis, as well as planning and delivering HSE training programs and emergency drills to ensure full compliance and operational safety excellence.
Requirement
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Health, Safety, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent, along with a Diploma in Safety Management or a related qualification, and possession of NEBOSH International General Certificate or an Oil & Gas safety certification. The candidate must have strong knowledge of local and international HSE laws, regulations, and best practices, with proven expertise in Oil & Gas HSE systems, process operations, and safety technologies. Advanced competency in HSE risk assessment, auditing, and hazard identification is required, along with excellent incident investigation and root cause analysis skills. The role demands strong leadership, decision-making ability, and the capacity to perform effectively under pressure. The candidate should also possess excellent HSE training, communication, and presentation skills, with high attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, time management abilities, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
