Job Description
Lead or contribute to UX activities across one or more product squads, covering discovery, definition, and delivery phases.
Define and own user experience deliverables including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and user journey maps.
Design and maintain high-quality UI components, visual language, and interaction patterns consistent with the TAMM design system.
Conduct and synthesize user research (interviews, usability testing, analytics reviews) to inform design decisions and validate assumptions.
Translate complex user needs and business requirements into clear, elegant, and accessible design solutions.
Collaborate with product owners and engineers to ensure design intent is accurately implemented and maintained.
Contribute to the definition, evolution, and governance of the TAMM design system and component libraries.
Present and justify design decisions to stakeholders with clarity and confidence, incorporating feedback effectively.
Review implemented designs for quality assurance, producing detailed handoff documentation and redlines for development teams.
Mentor and provide structured feedback to junior designers, supporting their growth and the team’s overall quality standards.
Requirement
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5–8 years of professional experience in UX/UI design for digital products, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work.
Expert command of Figma, including component creation, auto-layout, prototyping, and design system management.
Proficient in creating information architecture, sitemaps, user flows, and wireframes for complex digital products.
Solid understanding of user-centred design methodologies, including generative and evaluative research techniques.
Strong visual design sensibility with the ability to define look and feel for integrated digital experiences.
Experience designing for mobile-first and responsive web environments, with attention to platform conventions and accessibility standards.
Ability to work effectively in agile delivery environments, collaborating across product, engineering, and QA teams.
Excellent communication skills; able to articulate design rationale, present concepts, and engage constructively with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing within large-scale design systems or contributing to their definition and governance.
Familiarity with interaction design principles and micro-animation for enhanced user experience.
Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and inclusive design practices.
Experience with user research facilitation, including moderated usability testing and interview techniques.
Background in service design or experience mapping complex end-to-end user journeys.
Knowledge of front-end development basics (HTML/CSS) to facilitate smoother collaboration with engineering teams.
Experience in a government digital services or large enterprise digital product context.
